Defibrillator

A defibrillator for use in emergencies involving Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) has been installed in the Barons club house. The defibrillator is mounted on the wall in the hallway between the library/ping pong room and the bathrooms.

This defibrillator is intended for emergencies at the pool (life guards are trained in the use of defibrillators) or at the club house.

The defibrillator is not intended for use away from the clubhouse, because faster response by police would be expected calling 911.

The defibrillator in the clubhouse is for use on adults only.

IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY

CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY

If a person has stopped breathing as a result of sudden cardiac arrest, use of the defibrillator may be life saving. Recorded instructions are given once the defibrillator has been activated, so no specialized training is required.
